7 Pot Red (Giant)
The 7-Pot Red Giant registers over 1 million SHU in hotness and is also from Trinidad. The seeds are rare and hard to find. This chilli has a fruity and nutty flavour and also has yellow and other versions. It is closely related to the Trinidad Scorpion pepper and you can easily identify it because of its rough, pockmarked skin. In Trinidad, this pepper is used for military grade tear gas as well as marine paint since its hotness prevents barnacles from adhering to the surface.
