Trinidad Scorpion “Butch T”
This is a pepper that was grown and cultivated by Butch Taylor of the Zydeco Hot Sauce fame. For a short time, it held the record as the hottest pepper in the world but it was dethroned by the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. The Australian Butch T pepper burns at 1.43M SHU. Now that’s a serious burn that could get you to a hospital!
