Naga Viper
This is a rare pepper variety which was grown and cultivated in the United Kingdom. Yup, the British like their peppers hot too. The Naga Viper is a product of many years of cross pollination between various red pepper species. Although it briefly held the spice record, it is considered to be an unstable three-way hybrid. This combination came from the Trinidad Scorpion, the Naga Morch and the Bhut Jolokia and registers at 1.38 SHU.
