Trinidad Scorpion CARDI
Scoville scale measures this between 800000 to 1000000 SHU. This is another tongue burner that originates from Trinidad. During its unripened stages, the pepper is colored green. It turns to a bright yellow as it matures completely. It looks similar to its cousin the Trinidad Scorpion but is bigger, thicker, and longer in size. CARDI stands for Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute and is where the variant was originally bred.
