7 Pot Barrackpore (1,300,000 SHU)
At the 9th spot is the 7 Pot Barrackpore, with hotness level of 1,300,000 SHU closer in hotness to the 7 Pot Brain Strain. This variety came from the Barrackpore region in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad. This kind of pepper comes with an elongated body and closely resembles the BhutJolokia. They appear bigger and a lot more wrinkled than the regular 7 Pot pepper. Just like the regular 7 Pot, this variety has a fruity undertone to its hotness.
